FULL ORCHESTRA CONCERT

A concert featuring works by Florence Price, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and William Grant Still along with music in the tradition of Hawaii, New Orleans, Mexico, India, and African American juba! The NSO will also perform Jennifer Higdon’s stirring arrangement of “Amazing Grace”, Carlos Simon’s Hellfighters’ Blues, and two world premieres as part of The Cartography Project—the Kennedy Center’s commissioning program engaging Black artists from around the nation.
